European Youth Portal - information and opportunities for young people across Europe

In line with the European Commission's Better Internet for Kids strategy, our key vision is to create a better internet for children and young people, equipping them with the knowledge and skills they need to actively participate in today's digital society.
In more practical terms, it's our mission, via the BIK portal - to foster the exchange of knowledge, expertise, resources and best practices between key stakeholders, in order to increase access to high-quality content for children and young people. As such, we're pleased to introduce the European Youth Portal.
The European Youth Portal offers European and national information and opportunities that are of interest to young people who are living, learning and working in Europe. It gives information around eight main themes, covers 34 countries and is available in 28 languages.
Themes covered are:
  • Volunteering
  • Working
  • Learning
  • Taking part
  • Culture and creativity
  • Health
  • Social inclusion
  • Think globally
  • Travelling
The portal also allows young people to have their questions answered through the Eurodesk Network.
