Media Education - Educational Material for Peer Support Scheme
Media Education - Educational Material for Peer Support Scheme (Mediakasvatus - Tukioppilastoiminnan koulutusmateriaalit in Finnish) guidebook provides educational material for teachers, peer support instructors and peer supporters in secondary school. It includes information and exercises about media culture, playing, preventing bullying, online safety and digital well-being in everyday life. Peer supporters can use these media education exercises in peer support activities. In the peer support scheme students give support to each other by discussing and organizing common events. The aim is to promote a feeling of companionship among the students, make schooling more enjoyable, increase social responsibility and secure a safe, enjoyable and supportive school year for all.
