Youth participation in the Better Internet for Kids (BIK) agenda allows young people to express their views and exchange knowledge and experiences concerning their use of online technologies, as well as tips on how to stay safe.
They also advise on internet safety and empowerment strategy, help create innovative resources and disseminate eSafety messages to their peers.

- UK Safer Internet Centre
On 11th April 2019 in Brussels, much-needed and ground-breaking resources will be launched to help tackle online sexual harassment among young people. Experts from the UK, Denmark and Hungary who have been working on this issue for the past two years will be present at the event. The launch will also be an opportunity to meet and talk to young people from these countries and hear them talk about what support they need from professionals.Read more

- German Safer Internet Centre
jugend.support is an advice and support website addressing kids of 12 years and older. It was developed by order of the German Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ) by partners within the German Safer Internet Centre (SIC). The awareness centre, klicksafe, manages the project in cooperation with the hotlines internet-beschwerdestelle.de (implemented by eco and FSM) and jugendschutz.net, the child helpline Nummer gegen Kummer, as well as the peer-to-peer project JUUUPORT.de.Read more

Within the framework of the European co-funded project ‘CΥberSafety – Better Internet for Kids' (https://www.cybersafety.cy/) the Cyprus Pedagogical Institute of the Ministry of Education and Culture organised a training day for the members of the CYberSafety Youth Panel, Cyprus. On Monday, 4 February 2019, the 2020 Smarter Internet for Kids Agenda took place in Milan, Italy, gathering many different stakeholders to discuss the priority areas affecting young people online. Microsoft participated in the event to hear the ideas and view the work of dozens of teens, and to promote digital civility, safer and healthier online interactions among all people.
