On Wednesday, 26 September 2018, Te Protejo, the hotline in Colombia, hosted the sixth edition of "Conectados para Protegerlos" (Connected to protect them).

This event brought together international representatives from the GSMA, the US ICE Agency, Twitter, Facebook, Microsoft, Cybertip.ca as well as national entities that work to prevent and fight against online child sexual abuse (CSA).

During this event, representatives from Colombian organisations signed the "National Pact to End Human Trafficking and Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents". This pact proposes actions that the government, judicial, private sector, international entities and civil society could take to promote measures aimed at preventing and tackling human trafficking and online children sexual exploitation.

Te Protejo also signed an agreement with the Canadian Centre for Child Protection to implement Project Arachnid in Colombia.
