On 18 October 2018, at the invitation of the Spletno oko hotline, Minister of Interior Boštjan Poklukar visited the Faculty of Social Sciences in the University of Ljubljana.

Boštjan Lindav, Director of the Criminal Police Directorate also attended this meeting. Together with the representatives of the Spletno oko hotline, they discussed the successful cooperation of the police and the hotline in processing reports of illegal content and raising public awareness of online child abuse. They also explored the possibilities for even stronger cooperation.

Recently, Spletno oko and the Slovenian police worked together on preparing four educational videos on online child sexual abuse. These videos discuss online grooming, sexting, online child abuse images and sextortion. The objective of these videos is to present the characteristics of types of abuse, how it can take place, legislations regarding abuse and how to act against abuse. These videos are designed specifically for parents, employees in schools and social workers.

Links to the videos along with the manual "E-abuse of children" (published in 2017) which covers similar topics are available on the Spletno oko website.
