In a systematic study of the circulation route of the depictions of sexualised poses on the internet, jugendschutz.net evaluated 772 sources and concluded that the pedosexual online group is operating in an exclusive network.

Images of children sexual exploitation is an ongoing issue on the internet. These images range from depictions of sexual abuse to the presentation of children as sex objects and even everyday photos tagged with sexualised comments.
- National Media and Infocommunications Authority of Hungary
In July 2018, the National Media and Infocommunications Authority of Hungary launched a new campaign to promote the internet hotline. This campaign features commonly used emojis in two different contexts: in the first instance, they have a harmless meaning, whilst in the other their meaning can be abusive, offensive or threatening.
