Within the Insafe network of Safer Internet Centres (SICs), Helplines provide information, advice and assistance to children, young people and parents on how to deal with harmful content, harmful contact (such as grooming) and harmful conduct such as (cyberbullying or sexting).

Helplines can increasingly be accessed via a variety of means – telephone, email, web forms, Skype, and online chat services.

EU Kids Online release exploratory helpline findings for SID

The Insafe network of helplines is made up of helplines from 30 European countries, all dealing with online-related issues.
