In addition to an update of the compulsory training concept for all 7th graders and two new training concepts for teachers and educators (on media trends and sexuality online), a concept called "ALEX' FIRST STEPS ONLINE" was developed for pupils aged 10-12. As kids often get a proper smartphone at this age, the training addresses the most important messages as well as the risks you encounter when taking your first steps on a social media platform.

BEE SECURE has also developed a virtual activity consisting of interactive quizzes and tasks in which children playfully gain a first insight into how to use media and technologies in a safe and responsible manner. The activity called "DIGIRALLYE – VIRTUAL EDITION" targets children aged 9-12 and is currently available in German and French.

In October, BEE SECURE is going to launch a new awareness raising campaign "ARE YOU SURE?" The main aim of this campaign is to encourage young people to ask questions about their own digital identity: What do I put about myself online? What do others post about me online? What should I probably avoid posting? How and why do I present myself the way I do?

Basically, the campaign should make everyone aware that it is essential nowadays that we do not neglect our online identity and that we cultivate it on a regular basis. The campaign features short videos about topics such as "sexting", "sharenting", "self-presentation" and "online reputation".

In the fall, the Luxembourgish SIC is going to release a series of motion graphics videos for parents. Using the slogan "DISCOVER TOGETHER", parents will find practical tips on how they can positively engage with their children's use of digital media.

In collaboration with Tactical Technology, BEE SECURE is releasing an update of the DATA DETOX KIT in German and French. This guide showcases easy ways that everybody can take to control and monitor their digital footprint.
