Safer Internet Day (SID) was celebrated on 7 February 2017 in Ireland and all over the world. This year has been the biggest and best one yet! Across Ireland, there were over 420 Safer Internet Day events in schools and organisations involving more than 75,000 children. This year saw a huge range of activities, events and internet safety messages. Here are just a few highlights from Safer Internet Day 2017.

eTwinning, the community for schools in Europe, is celebrating SID 2017!

eTwinning is the largest community for schools in Europe. It offers a safe platform for teachers to collaborate, share innovative practices, and engage in online-based projects with students from 42 countries.
