13th international conference "Keeping children and young people safe online" – Video materials now online

Video materials from the 13th international conference "Keeping children and young people safe online", which took place in Warsaw, Poland on Tuesday, 17 and Wednesday, 18 September 2019, are now available online.

The conference was jointly organised by the Polish and German Safer Internet Centres (SICs). Almost 600 professionals from over 10 European countries took part in the event to learn more about the main online safety issues, as well as the latest trends in children and young people's uses of new technologies.

For the 12th International Conference on Keeping Children and Young People Safe Online, Mariya Gabriel, Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society, released a video message to congratulate the organisers of the event, the Polish and German Safer Internet Centres. She also reaffirmed her commitment to involve all stakeholders – policymakers, civil society organisations, teachers, parents, young people and children themselves – in the challenge to give children and young people the tools to become fully equipped digital citizens.
