Participate in the 13th international conference "Keeping children and young people safe online"

The 13th international conference "Keeping children and young people safe online" will take place on Tuesday, 17 and Wednesday, 18 September 2019 at the Airport Hotel Okęcie in Warsaw, Poland. 

Experts from all over Europe will gather to discuss internet safety threats and possible countermeasures, as well as the latest trends and opportunities regarding new technologies used by children and young people. The event is jointly organised by the Polish and German Safer Internet Centres in cooperation with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).

The event is addressed to representatives of the education sector, non-governmental organisations, judiciary and law enforcement agencies, as well as providers of internet services and content. The sessions will be led by recognised international experts in the field of child protection. This year's conference programme will include, among others, the results of the latest research on online safety, recent internet security challenges, new technologies in the education of children and youth, and the problems of pornography, sexting and cyberbullying.

Those interested in attending are invited to complete the online registration form. Participation in the conference is free of charge, however the organisers cannot cover travel and accommodation costs for participants. The languages of the conference will be English and Polish (simultaneous interpretation is provided).
