The Greek ‘The Grocery Store' video spot wins first place in the Miler international competition

The already double-awarded short movie ‘The Grocery Store' won yet another distinction as the best media literacy digital resource in the Miler competition launched by the Evens Foundation and the Modern Poland Foundation.

The movie, created by the Greek Safer Internet Centre, won first place among 23 educational resources in open voting during the period 2-15 December 2015. The Association for Technology and Internet (ApTI) from Romania won second place with the ‘Personal data in the Digital Age – Educational Videos', while third place went to Anglisides Public Primary School from Cyprus for the Media Education Month material.
‘The Grocery Store' has so far received the ‘Odysseus 2013' award for best short movie at the London Greek Film Festival 2013 and has also won the ‘Audience Favourite Prize', at the MEDEA Awards 2014, being finalist with 7 other entries among 237 submissions from 29 European countries.
