ISOC Sri Lanka joins Safer Internet Day

The Sri Lanka Chapter of the Internet Society (ISOC Sri Lanka) has joined the international movement for Safer Internet Day (SID) 2019 as the Sri Lankan SID Committee.

On this occasion, the organisation put in place a training session for 42 participants from four schools in the Kandy District.

The Regional Economic Development Authority, Central Province, supported the Sri Lanka Chapter of the Internet Society in the organisation of the training event, and confirmed their engagement in the safer internet mission in the future.

2019 marks the first year that ISOC Sri Lanka officially joins Safer Internet Day as a national committee.
