The conference is organised by the Polish and German Safer Internet Centres (SICs) and co-organised by the International Telecommunication Union. The main partner of the event is Orange Foundation. It will bring together approximately 500 representatives from the education sector, NGOs, law enforcement, government and industry.
The event will address a wide variety of issues relating to children's and young people's safety online, such as irresponsible online behaviour, harmful content, gaming and internet addiction. It will also explore the emerging answers that various stakeholders are bringing to these online threats, from educational strategies to new technology development.
The conference aims to raise awareness of the new challenges and opportunities in the fight against online threats and to help share best practices across different sectors. Sessions will be led by recognised international experts in the field of child protection. The languages of the conference will be English and Polish.
The agenda of the conference and the livestream will be accessible via the Polish Safer Internet Centre (SIC) website.
