At a celebratory event hosted at the State Chancellery of Rheinland-Pfalz, representatives from politics, industry, supervisory bodies and child protection discussed the challenges of youth protection and the implications of the digitalisation of young people's lives. Attendees called for a culture of shared responsibility in order to enable young users to experience the internet more safely.
The event was attended by 150 guests and received media attention and appreciation for the work undertaken by the team of jugendschutz.net. jugendschutz.net also published a Festschrift (a special anniversary report) with an overview on how the protection of minors should be further enhanced.
