Romanian SIC relaunches its volunteering programme

At the beginning of the school year, the Romanian Safer Internet Centre (SIC) invited all teachers and youth workers across the country to join the Ora de Net programme as volunteers. The first step of the process was for teachers to register in order to receive materials and then organise an educational activity with the aim of conducting a children's consultation.

More than 4,300 people registered to join the initiative that will contribute to creating an overall image of the needs of Romanian children, and the influence that the online environment has on them. Based on the consultation results, the Romanian Safer Internet Centre plans to then create resources and materials that will support the volunteers in organising educational activities aimed at children, parents and other specialists.
