The Swedish Safer Internet Centre has published a number of articles and resources (in Swedish) on staying safe online during the COVID-19 pandemic. Below you can find them organised by topic.

  • How to respond to online risks under the COVID-19 pandemic

    • Digitally safe in coronavirus times. A listing of various resources from the Swedish Media Literacy Network on topics such as online streaming, avoiding scams or working safely from home.
    • Misinformation and 'infodemic' in coronavirus times. A listing of resources from the Swedish Media Literacy Network on dealing with disinformation and rumours. They will help you and your children increase your knowledge on disinformation, find reliable sources, and get tips and training in fact checking.
    • Pandemic and 'infodemic': How can adults support children? As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the World Health Organization (WHO) stated that we are also affected by an 'infodemic'. Therefore, it is important to talk to children about what is happening and what type of information they receive. It is also important to provide children with factual and well-founded information on how we can help reduce the spread of the virus.
  • Emergency remote teaching

    • Online education in coronavirus times. How should students learn from home while schools are closed? What adaptations are required for students with special needs? This article compiles a list of resources from the Swedish Media Literacy Network on how to move to emergency remote teaching. It includes materials about online pedagogy and online lessons for children of various ages.
