10th International Conference ‘Keeping Children and Young People Safe Online' is fast approaching

For the tenth time already, experts from all over Europe will gather to discuss both the biggest safety threats on the internet as well as the latest trends and possibilities for using new technologies by children and young people. The 10th International Conference ‘Keeping Children and Young People Safe Online' will take place on 20-21 September 2016 in Warsaw. The event is jointly organised by the Polish and German Safer Internet Centres.

Sessions will be led by recognised international experts in the field of child protection. This year's conference programme will include, among others, the issues relating to emerging trends online, educational strategies, privacy, gaming, internet addictions, harmful content and hurtful online behaviour. The conference will also provide an opportunity to learn about the results of the latest studies concerning online safety. The event is mainly addressed to representatives of the education sector, NGOs, law enforcement agencies, and internet service and content providers.
 
The co-organiser of the conference is the International Telecommunication Union and the main partner of the event is the Orange Foundation.
 
Those interested in attending are invited to complete the online application form before the registration deadline of 2 September 2016. Participation in the conference is free of charge, however the organisers cannot cover travel and accommodation costs for delegates.
