In the framework of the meeting, SEEDIG will also hold the second edition of its Youth School. The SEEDIG Youth School is a capacity-development initiative targeted at students originally from, or residing in a country in South Eastern Europe and the neighbouring area*. It aims to offer regional youth a space to learn, network, exchange ideas, and prepare to actively participate in the annual meeting.
The programme will include online preparatory meetings, a half-day event on 22 May 2018 dedicated to the youth, and full participation in the two-day annual meeting.
A limited number of partial and full scholarships (travel costs, accommodation) are available. However, due to limited funds, interested participants are strongly advised to look for alternative funding also (via their university, for example).
The SEEDIG Youth School is open for applications until Monday, 2 April 2018.
For further information and online applications, see the SEEDIG website.
* Countries usually represented in SEEDIG activities are Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Georgia, Greece, Kosovo, Montenegro, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, Turkey, and Ukraine.
