In each edition, we'll bring you a mix of news, research and resources from many of the key stakeholders in keeping children and young people safe online, be they European Safer Internet Centres, research organisations, industry partners, policy makers or experts in the field. The focus topic for this edition is internet governance.

We are now entering the traditional internet governance ‘season' with two landmark events taking place in the coming months: the Safer Internet Forum (SIF) taking place in Luxembourg on 28-29 October 2015, closely followed by the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) taking place in João Pessoa, Brazil, on 10-13 November 2015. The BIK bulletin offers a preview, including an insight into the importance of including the voice of youth in internet governance issues.
