Parents often share images of their cute children on social media. But is that OK? In three new campaign spots, the Danish Awareness Centre points out three problems that arise between generations when being online.

"Uploaded" is the title of the first of three spots that focus on parents as digital role models. It was launched on Safer Internet Day, Tuesday, 7 February 2017. Danes are familiar with the actress, Ditte Hansen, who plays the clumsy mother who, despite having good intentions, is perhaps not the best role model to her 11-year-old son, Munchkin.

The debate about image sharing without consent is of current interest, but do parents ask for their children's consent before they upload an image of them on social media? Parents should respect their children's right to refuse to have their images shared online.

The second video spot, titled "Movie Night", will be launched on 17 February 2017.

The third video spot, titled "Privacy", will be launched on 3 March 2017.
