CWIN, one of the leading child rights organisation in Nepal, participated in the event by setting up a stall to promote toll-free Child Helpline (1098). Likewise, Digital Broadcast Initiative – Equal Access Nepal recorded the event and interviewed participants for its flagship radio programme, "Sathi Sanga Manka Kura", a very popular radio programme among adolescents.

Besides, young people shared their thoughts on safer use of digital technologies. They also participated in debates on burning issues, such as the recently imposed ban on porn sites by the Government of Nepal.

Labim Mall, the most fashionable and trendy shopping mall of Nepal, collaborated with ChildSafeNet as the venue partner and provided the space and facilities for the event as a part of their corporate social responsibility.

ChildSafeNet has also set up a stall at the Computer Association of Nepal (CAN) Info-Tech 2019 to promote a safer internet for children and young people, as part of the celebrations for Safer Internet Day 2019 in Nepal. The biggest IT event of Nepal took place from 29 January to 3 February 2019 in Kathmandu.

The survey was conducted by ChildSafeNet volunteers, using ten tablet computers. Moreover, ChildSafeNet reached directly more than 50,000 people with online safety messages.

ChildSafeNet was very excited to collaborate with other stakeholders for the celebration of the Safer Internet Day 2019, as the focal organisation in Nepal, and wishes to extend its sincere thanks to all supporters, collaborators, partners, volunteers and team members.
