The 15th International Conference “Keeping Children and Young People Safe Online” kicks off!

The 15th International Conference “Keeping Children and Young People Safe Online” will take place 20-24 September 2021. The conference is addressed to representatives of the education sector, scientists, experts, non-governmental organisations, public administration and the internet industry.

The conference is one of the largest events on online threats and safety in Europe. This year, the conference will adopt an open, online formula. 

On 20-21 September 2021, plenary sessions will be streamed live from a studio with the possibility of asking questions. On 22-25 September 2021, 15 workshop sessions will take place, and it will be possible to participate via a separate registration process. Registration for both the plenary sessions and workshops is free of charge; you can register at conference.saferinternet.pl/registration.

The conference is organised by the Polish Safer Internet Centre, which comprises the NASK National Research Institute and the Empowering Children Foundation, and the German Safer Internet Centre (klicksafe consortium). The centres are co-funded by the European Union. The event is co-organised by ITU (International Telecommunications Union), the main partner is the Orange Foundation, and Google Poland is also a partner.
