Policy

A range of policy, strategy and governance initiatives support the work of the Better Internet for Kids (BIK) agenda.

The 'Strategy for a Better Internet for Children' proposes a series of actions to be undertaken by the European Commission, Member States and by the whole industry value chain.

Insafe and INHOPE work together through a network of Safer Internet Centres across Europe – typically comprising an awareness centre, helpline, hotline and youth panel.

A variety of campaigns and events are organised, or attended, within the framework of Better Internet for Kids.

The BIK Map was created to compare and exchange knowledge on policy making and implementation in EU Member States on the themes and recommendations of the European Strategy for a Better Internet for Children.
