ITU publishes 2020 Guidelines on Child Online Protection

On Tuesday, 23 June 2020, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) launched its new 2020 Guidelines on Child Online Protection (COP), a set of recommendations for children, parents, educators, industry and policy makers on how to contribute to the development of a safe and empowering online environment for children and young people.

Safer Internet Day is not just on 5 February, but everyday - Looking back on a year of changes in EU policy

With Safer Internet Day (SID) just around the corner, it's time to take a look back at what has changed since the last edition for both decision makers and industry. This year, SID 2019 celebrations are taking place on Tuesday, 5 February 2019 all around the world, with more than 140 countries involved. The campaign's slogan, "Together for a better internet", is a call to action for all stakeholders to join together and play their part in creating a better internet for everyone, and especially for children and young people.
