YEP, we can make a change!

Young people from across Europe met recently for the 9th edition of the European Youth Panel (YEP), which took place in Brussels last month. In total, 15 young people from 13 countries were selected from their national youth panels to represent their peers, share their ideas and contribute to a new youth campaign. They also attended the Safer Internet Forum (SIF), where they participated in high-level panel discussions. Here, Noah from Luxembourg shares his experience.

SIMOOC: A joint MOOC for teachers in Austria, Germany and Luxembourg

A MOOC – massive open online course – is an online course with open access via the web. Saferinternet.at (part of the Austrian Safer Internet Centre), klicksafe (part of the German Safer Internet Centre), and BEE SECURE (part of the Luxembourgish Safer Internet Centre) have developed a free "Safer internet MOOC" in German. Called SIMOOC, it shows teachers how to use the internet safely in the classroom.

Luxembourg conference gathers about 100 international experts

About 100 participants from all over Europe gathered at Forum Geeseknäppchen in Luxembourg City on 27-28 April 2017 to attend the conference "Children and Youth on the Net". The main topic of the conference was the question of what should international connected media education and youth protection on the internet look like in 2017.

Trainers' meeting: BEE SECURE meets Saferinternet.at

New campaign in Luxembourg: Share Respect – Stop Online Hate Speech!
