Young people from across Europe met recently for the 9th edition of the European Youth Panel (YEP), which took place in Brussels last month. In total, 15 young people from 13 countries were selected from their national youth panels to represent their peers, share their ideas and contribute to a new youth campaign. They also attended the Safer Internet Forum (SIF), where they participated in high-level panel discussions. Here, Noah from Luxembourg shares his experience.

Better Internet for Kids builds a Youth Programme!

Growing up in a digital environment has become more than just a motto; it's an actual fact for most of today's youth. While constantly trying to keep up to speed with new online services, learn more about media, and stay safe online, young people often face a series of questions from parents, educators and carers, and sometimes even from other youngsters who trust their peers with online concerns. BIK Youth launches first youth participation scenario

The number of internet end users has increased beyond 3.5 billion, out of which minors represent one in three and, in some countries, even one in two. What has BIK Youth started to do for a better internet for these young end users? A co-creation process has been launched as part of a wider BIK Youth Programme where, ultimately, young people will develop a range of youth participation scenarios for online safety guidance, learning, campaigning and decision making.
