Czech Republic – Online course for children on digital footprint

In September 2019, the Czech Safer Internet Centre (SIC), in cooperation with the National Cyber and Information Security Authority, launched an online course called "Digital Footprint", intended primarily for children aged 10-13. This interactive game focuses on online privacy and associated social phenomena such as personal data abuse, sexting, digital privacy or cyberbullying.

Roundtable on the GDPR and children's rights

From May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will take effect in EU Member States. The GDPR aims to strengthen, simplify and harmonise data protection regimes across Europe, giving individuals control over how their data are processed.
