Competition in primary schools on the critical use of the internet

Slovenian awareness centre SAFE.SI organised its 2018-19 award competition for primary school pupils, who participated with 140 various projects of fine arts, comics and videos, which have delighted the jury. On Thursday, 30 May 2019, the winners were invited to the final event in Ljubljana, where they watched a documentary and received their awards.

Lithuania – Safer Internet Day 2019 event "Conversation in other ways!"

The 2019 Safer Internet Day (SID) celebrations took place on Tuesday, 5 February 2019. The campaign's slogan, "Together for a better internet", was a call for all countries involved to invite stakeholders to join together and play their part in creating a better internet for everyone, and especially for younger users.

Save the Children Romania, the national coordinator of the Safer Internet Centre (SIC), celebrated Safer Internet Day (SID) 2019 by organising a public press event entitled "Internet and children's emotional wellbeing". It took place on Tuesday, 5 February 2019 in Bucharest, and brought together representatives of institutions that aim to protect children both online and offline, representatives of companies, psychologists, teachers, children, school counselors and other specialists.

Wifi's game finale marks Safer Internet Day 2019 in Latvia
