The Dutch helpline for child sexual abuse, Helpwanted.nl, is conducting a study on financial sextortion. This study is financed by the Stiching Achmea Slachtoffer en Samenleving (SASS) (in English, Achmea Foundation: Victim and Society) and is carried out in cooperation with Slachtofferhulp Nederland (in English, Victim Support the Netherlands).Read more

There is a discrepancy between the prevalence of female offenders in child sexual abuse material, and the notably low number of cases against female offenders in the Swedish courts. There is a risk that society turns a blind eye towards an entire group of sexually abused children.Read more

The second annual INHOPE Summit, Emma's Journey, took place in Facebook's Menlo Park HQ in California in June 2019. It brought together representatives from the technology sector, the US Department of Justice, child advocates from both sides of the Atlantic, and law enforcement, to highlight the critical work that the INHOPE network of hotlines does every day.Read more

In the fight against online child sexual abuse, "jokainen vihje on tärkeä", every report counts, as they say in Finnish. Nettivihje has been in operation since 2002 and offers the public a way to report potential illegal online content, especially concerning child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
