Protecting children on smartphones

Protecting children on smartphones

Since the launch of our new Better Internet for Kids (BIK) portal towards the end of last year, we've been delighted to be contacted by some industry representatives keen to promote a better and safer internet for children and young people in their own areas of work and activities.

We have recently been contacted by TigerMobiles who shared with us a visual guide which offers parents advice on ‘How to protect your children on their smartphone'.

The infographic provides basic best practice guidelines to parents to help keep their children safe when using mobile phones, and also provides insights into online trends such as sexting, cyberbullying and in-app purchasing. The visual guide also provides tips on how parents can keep their children safe on online apps.
