As every year, the joint Insafe-INHOPE network is running a booth in the IGF village in order to raise awareness about the Better Internet for Kids agenda in Europe, including the annual Safer Internet Day (SID) campaign. Safer Internet Day is a global campaign that takes place every year in February. In 2017, SID will take place on Tuesday, 7 February with this year's theme calling on people to ‘unite for a better internet'. Hence during the week, IGF participants from all over the world will have an opportnity to join the campaign and ‘be the change' for a better internet.

Find more information about SID, visit www.saferinternetday.org and follow the conversations on Twitter using #SaferInternetDay and #SID2017.

Next up, on day 2 of IGF, the Insafe-INHOPE network is co-organising a workshop which will discuss "Is children's data THEIRS, MINE or there to be MINED?".
