Youth participation in the Better Internet for Kids (BIK) agenda allows young people to express their views and exchange knowledge and experiences concerning their use of online technologies, as well as tips on how to stay safe.

They also advise on internet safety and empowerment strategy, help create innovative resources and disseminate eSafety messages to their peers.

Save the date! The European Youth Week is getting close

The European Youth Week will take place from Monday, 29 April to Sunday, 5 May 2019. This event takes place every two years and aims to celebrate and promote youth engagement through activities organised in all 33 countries participating in Erasmus+.

'Step Up, Speak Up' - Youth-led event in Brussels to tackle online sexual harassment

On 11th April 2019 in Brussels, much-needed and ground-breaking resources will be launched to help tackle online sexual harassment among young people. Experts from the UK, Denmark and Hungary who have been working on this issue for the past two years will be present at the event. The launch will also be an opportunity to meet and talk to young people from these countries and hear them talk about what support they need from professionals.

jugend.support portal empowers German youth

jugend.support is an advice and support website addressing kids of 12 years and older. It was developed by order of the German Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ) by partners within the German Safer Internet Centre (SIC). The awareness centre, klicksafe, manages the project in cooperation with the hotlines internet-beschwerdestelle.de (implemented by eco and FSM) and jugendschutz.net, the child helpline Nummer gegen Kummer, as well as the peer-to-peer project JUUUPORT.de.

Training day for CyberSafety Youth Panel in Cyprus

Portugal – Youth competition on online safety on social networks
