These introductory learning modules aim to provide you with all you need to know about the basics of online safety and your role as a teacher in supporting and educating the children and young people you work with. In each module, you’ll find information, suggested activities and useful resources to help you learn at your own pace.


Alongside many positive experiences, children may face risks and difficulties online. Learn about the different risks and how you can support your students.

Safer Internet Day takes place every February. Under the theme of "Together for a better internet", the day calls upon all people to join together to make the internet a safer and better place for children and young people.
