Internet Governance Forum 2022
The 17th annual Internet Governance Forum (IGF) meeting was hosted by the Government of Ethiopia in Addis Ababa from 28 November to 2 December 2022 with a focus on Resilient Internet for a Shared Sustainable and Common Future.
As in previous years, an Insafe delegation participated, contributing to a range of sessions to promote the work of the network. The session schedule, as hosted by the Insafe delegation, is outlined below:
- - Pre-event presenting the work of the Insafe network and opportunity to promote the new BIK+ strategy – Cyber hygiene: Best practices from the Insafe network – Monday, 28 November 2022.
- - Workshop on disinformation online – Blurred lines between fact and fiction: Disinformation online – Tuesday, 29 November 2022.
- - Workshop on online gender-based violence – The good, the bad and the ugly; online gender violence – Tuesday, 29 November 2022.
Throughout the week, the Insafe delegation also hosted a (virtual) booth to promote, among other activities, Safer Internet Day (SID).
