Campaigns and events

 

A variety of campaigns and events are organised, or attended, within the framework of Better Internet for Kids (BIK).

Safer Internet Forum (SIF) is a key annual international conference in Europe where key stakeholders come together to discuss the latest trends, risks and solutions related to child online safety.

On Safer Internet Day 2020, a group of Better Internet for Kids (BIK) Youth Ambassadors prepared a pledge on how to make information on apps and internet services more age appropriate for children and young people.

Safer Internet Day (SID) is an annual global celebration of a safer and better internet. Save the date for the next edition on Tuesday, 7 February 2023 when we'll join "Together for a better internet".

The Better Internet for Kids (BIK) Positive Online Content (POC) campaign places a focus on high-quality digital content for children that allows them to learn, have fun, and be creative online.

The annual Internet Governance Forum (IGF) serves to bring people together from various stakeholder groups as equals, in discussions on public policy issues relating to the internet.

This year-long campaign was launched on Safer Internet Day 2018, to promote online safety, media literacy and cyber-hygiene. The content of the campaign is preserved here for information purposes.
