Czech Republic

The Czech Republic has a very "internet active" youth – we call them the "always on" generation, permanently using social networking services, checking news, communicating, sharing, and so on.
The age at which they first go online (typically using a smartphone) is about 6 years of age (first class on basic school). There are lots of well-prepared websites aimed at children in the Czech Republic, but public awareness of their availability is low. More power to promote this services would be welcomed, especially among parents.
High traffic websites are provided by strong commercial subjects and publishing houses. Most of the websites for children focus on the youngest target group of pre-school and early-school children. Unfortunately there are not so much websites aimed at teens. A lot of activities in the "positive content" field are provided and organised by public libraries. They typically work as an internet connection point, and many libraries also run websites for youth and children.
