Safer Internet Centres celebrate SID 2025: Denmark
The main event this year was a conference held in Copenhagen on 26 February, called "Conference about the rights of children and young people in digital spaces". The conference was intended for professionals working with digital rights.Presentations and debatesThe programme of the conference mostly consisted of presentations with the aim of shedding light on digital rights from several perspectives. The Insafe and INHOPE networks meet to facilitate sharing of experiences and good practice
Day 1Activities will kick off with some optional sessions focusing on media literacy and helpline and hotline activities. Then, the training meeting will officially open with a session delving into the EU Artificial Intelligence (AI) Act, and a keynote focusing on emotional AI and children. The following sessions will provide more in-depth discussion on specific issues with input from Safer Internet Centres and experts who will share cases, resources, and research, and with allocated time for discussion and feedback.
Safer Internet Centres celebrate SID 2025: Czech Republic
Why is it important to pay attention to our digital footprint? This topic was the main topic of this year's Safer Internet Day (SID)in the Czech Republic. SID is celebrated every year around the world, drawing attention to the importance of online security. This year it fell on 11 February, and in the Czech Republic, a day-long programme was held on 10 February in cooperation with CZ.NIC and the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic, as well as other institutions and organisations.
Safer Internet Centres celebrate SID 2025: Albania
At a time when child online safety has become an increasingly complex challenge, iSIGURT.al and ALO 116 111 have built a broad institutional cooperation model to address digital risks. This model has proven to be highly effective in identifying and shutting down harmful websites, as well as tracking individuals responsible for inciting online violence. The collaboration with the State Police and the Cybercrime Unit of the Local Police Directorate in every district of Albania has demonstrated that an integrated and coordinated approach is key to protecting children in the digital space.
